Year 2022 Joy decided to take her Wesco position from Indiana, facilitating Duke Energy, and head up Flordia. Moving may be an option.
Son John continues to lead commerical real estate brokers in midwest. Jim Van continues activity as Realtor. Daughter Julie & Greg, now empty nesters, off traveling. Joy & Jim vacationed with Tedrow’s in Puerto Valerto, Mexico after new year, then spring ski in Vail, Colorado ( Jim broke two ribs). Calling it quits on steep & deep. Joy uses LA fitness. I swim, & now sport a new e bike. Joy rides at 16 mph. Carmel is flat; so the assisted e boost let’s me keep pace. Joy actively riding dressage on her horse Bella. Early September big show in St. Louis. Jim will go and visit Nelson Spencer, St. Louis resident (Waterways Journal), canoe partner when they canoed 1965-66 in Nortwest Territory to Arctic Ocean. Then off to Idaho to hike & jeep tour with former Foxcliff residents, retired to Bosie, Ken & April Rue. Jim’s extended family decided to do Brown County early October for Jim’s eighth b day (vs. winter 12/31/‘42). Hike, Mtn bike: Hard Truth & Story Inn. An IU football game & boating on Lake Monroe. Joy & I off to Northern Michigan mid October; visit friends & help landscaping on their new build on Lake Michigan near Petowski. AND, how about a class reunion end of October. Thanks to those who organize. Is an open bar allowed like last reunion? I was surprised how much liquor was consumed and applauded how you walked out of Brickstreet.

Marlyin and I. shared lots of similar outdoor interest.  We chatted about such at reunions. An example:  I told her those morrel mushrooms did not surface until the ground temperature was above 64 degrees.  Wife Joy would inquire as to the where abouts of her meat testing device; " probably disappeared and is with your camping equipment ", .  As relayed to Marylin; carry the device with you.  Stick it in the ground.  If temp abovr 64, you should find morels.  

Our hunting grounds were not far apart.   She hunted a lot in and around White Lick Creek.  I walked Blue Bluff west into old Vacation  Heights,  east of Power Plant..  To those who live and enjoy the great outdoors daily, our thoughts of class mate Marilyn bring a smile and restful peace to all existence.
