Bernice Carter (Chumley)

So sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing.  She was a wonderful person.  I pray that God willl bless and keep her family.

Jim Vandenbark

Marlyin and I. shared lots of similar outdoor interest.  We chatted about such at reunions. An example:  I told her those morrel mushrooms did not surface until the ground temperature was above 64 degrees.  Wife Joy would inquire as to the where abouts of her meat testing device; " probably disappeared and is with your camping equipment ", .  As relayed to Marylin; carry the device with you.  Stick it in the ground.  If temp abovr 64, you should find morels.  

Our hunting grounds were not far apart.   She hunted a lot in and around White Lick Creek.  I walked Blue Bluff west into old Vacation  Heights,  east of Power Plant..  To those who live and enjoy the great outdoors daily, our thoughts of class mate Marilyn bring a smile and restful peace to all existence.
